In the File tab of the File > Options dialog box, you can set options for saving a document.
If you set the Create backup file feature, the backup file is created along with the Word file (*.docx) each time you run Save. The saved backup file remains until you save the file again.
The default path for saving is same with the original file, and you can change the path by clicking Browse.
Only one backup file is created with same name. For example, if you specify a certain path for the backup file, and you create and save two file with same name in each different path, then only one backup file would remain.
The file will be saved automatically at an interval of one minute after the last file save or auto save. You can set the interval from 1 through 60 minutes.
The file is saved automatically if nothing new is typed for few seconds after the last input. You can set the interval from 1 through 360 seconds. This feature saves the file, when you stop typing for some time.
Set to keep the last autosaved AutoRecover file in the path to prevent data loss when the program is closed unexpectedly. You can open and use this file when needed.
The default path for saving is set already and you can change the path by clicking Browse.
