Video

Insert a video file (*.mpg, *.avi, *.asf, *.wmv, *.mp4) into the current slide.

Steps

To insert video file

1. Click Insert > Media > Video.
   Or click the Video icon on the Insert tab.
   Or click the Insert Video icon on the Media tab.
2. In the Insert Video dialog box, select a multimedia file to open and click OK.
3. In the Insert Media dialog box, select Start Media when Playing Slide Show > Click to Play and click OK.
4. The multimedia file is inserted in the edit window, and the Media tab toolbox appears.

Click to play

Clicking on the inserted video file while running the slide show will play the file. See Insert Media for more information.

Caution

When saving large size video File

The file may not be saved correctly when large size video file is inserted in the slide and then saved.

Does not support multimedia that cannot be played on the operating system

Some multimedia files that cannot be played on the operating system may not be inserted correctly.
