Header/Footer

Create or edit a header or footer to put on a slide or handout.

There are repetitions for each page at the top and bottom of the slides, handouts, and slide notes, which are called Header and Footer. With headers or footers, you can insert a slide number in the presentation document or enter the date and time automatically.

Slide Tab

Set whether to show the footers (date/time, slide number, footer) in the slides.

Handout Tab

Set whether to show headers, footers (date/time, page number, footer) in the handouts.

Notes Page Tab

Set whether to show headers, footers (date/time, page number, footer) in the notes page.

Apply All Button

Depending on the type of tab selected in the Header/Footer dialog box, the Apply All button will have different results.

Apply Button

Apply the specified content only to the currently selected slide.

This button is activated only when the Slide tab is selected.

Cancel Button

Close the dialog box without saving changes.
